当館は現在、会場の都合により一時休館しておりますが、2026年5月7日（木）より再開館いたします。心待ちにしてくださった皆様、大変お待たせいたしました。

5月の「芸妓さん・舞妓さんによる京舞披露」チケットは、4月上旬よりオンライン販売を開始いたします。

また、5月上旬〜6月上旬にかけては「芸妓さん・舞妓さんによる京舞披露」を特別スケジュールでお送りする予定です。

【2026年5月　開館スケジュール】

・5月1日（金）〜6日（水）　休館

・5月7日（木）〜31日（日） 通常通り営業

※5月8日（金）、9日（土）にご来館のお客様へ

この2日間は京舞披露の会場が変更となります。移動に少々時間を要するため、ご参加のお客様は開始15分前までにはご来館いただけますようお願いいたします。

※下記の日程は取材撮影のため、12：00〜13：30頃まで八坂倶楽部１階大広間の見学を休止いたします。あらかじめご了承ください。

【芸妓さん・舞妓さんによる京舞披露　特別上演スケジュール】

5月上旬〜6月上旬にかけては、通常1日5回のところ、17：10〜6回目を追加で上演いたします。

・6回目　17：10〜

・6回目のチケットは、館内で当日券のみ販売いたします（1〜5回目までは、通常通り当ホームページよりオンライン予約が可能です）。

・6回目の実施につきましては、当館のSNSもしくは看板にてご確認ください（個別のご連絡にはお返事ができかねますので、あらかじめご了承ください）。

 

Thank you for your continued interest in the Gion Kagai Art Museum. Although the museum is currently closed due to the availability of the venue, we will reopen on Thursday, May 7. To those eager awaiting our reopening, we thank you for your patience. Tickets for Kyomai dance performances by geiko or maiko in May will be available online in early April.

We are planning a special schedule from early May to early June for Kyomai dance performances by geiko or maiko. We welcome you to visit Kyoto to see its vibrant fresh greenery.

 

[Museum Openings in May 2026]

・Friday, May 1 to Wednesday, May 6: Closed

・Thursday, May 7 to Sunday, May 31: Regular museum hours

*To visitors planning to visit the museum on Friday, May 8 and Saturday, May 9:

Please note that Kyomai dance performances will be held at a different venue. Additional time will be required to go to the new venue, so please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start time.

*Please note that the Yasaka Club 1^st Floor grand tatami room will be closed to visitors on May 27 between 12:00-13:30 for a photo shoot.

 

[Special schedule for Kyomai dance performances by geiko or maiko]

In addition to the regular 5 sessions offered each day, an additional sixth session will be performed at 17:10 from early May to early June.

・Sixth session: 17:10~

・Tickets for the sixth session will only be sold at the museum on the day of the performance. (Tickets for the first to fifth sessions will be available online on our website as per usual.)

・Please refer to the our social media accounts and signs at the museum regarding the sixth session. (Please note that we are unable to respond to individual inquiries.)
