Thank you for your interest in the Gion Kagai Art Museum.

The museum will be temporarily closed from Friday, March 6 to Wednesday, May 6, 2026, due to the availability of the venue.

 We apologize for this inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
The museum is scheduled to reopen from Thursday, May 7.

Tickets for May will be available for sale from early ofApril.

Please note that during the month of April, the Miyako Odori Dance Performance, in which all of the geiko and maiko of the Gion-Kobu quarter appear on stage, will be held at the Kaburenjo Main Building Theater. We invite you to come and enjoy this magnificent performance, which is known to be a spring tradition in Kyoto.
